The Gullwing Side Seeker window kit replaces your Land Rover Defender Puma Tdci or TD5 (2002 onwards) original side window with a lift-up hatch made of 5 mm thermolacquered aluminum, gas-strut assisted. Open, it turns your Defender into an expedition kitchen, an observation post, or a serving hatch into camp. Closed, it blends into the vehicle's lines.

Installation

Installation is within reach of a methodical user with the right tools: removing the original window, preparing the frame, fitting the gasket, fastening, adjusting the struts. The manual details every step. A torque recheck is required after 500 km of driving.

Regulations

Fitting a Gullwing window constitutes a bodywork modification that may be classed as a significant transformation under French road traffic law. It may require an individual approval (RTI) from the DREAL and requires informing your insurer. These steps remain the vehicle owner's responsibility.
